Goal #2: I can tell where places are located by using prepositional phrases in Spanish.

Today we are going to review our community vocabulary and learn some prepositional phrases to tell where the places are in Spanish. This counts as 2 different Spanish assignments. Remember you need a total of 5 Spanish assignments by May 22nd. See the directions for both assignments below. Once completed, send your assignments to [email protected].
My Community Map
Click on the “La comunidad” Power Point and audio to review your Spanish vocabulary. Once you have reviewed your vocabulary, create a map of an imaginary community using your places vocabulary on a blank sheet of paper. Follow the steps listed below.
My Community Sentences
Click on the “My Community Prepositional Phrases” Power Point to learn the prepositional phrases in Spanish. Then using your own community maps, write seven complete Spanish sentences to describe where the places are located on your map. See the prepositional phrases listed below.

My Community Map
Click on the “La comunidad” Power Point and audio to review your Spanish vocabulary. Once you have reviewed your vocabulary, create a map of an imaginary community using your places vocabulary on a blank sheet of paper. Follow the steps listed below.
- Think of a name for your community. Write it at the top of your paper.
- Draw at least 7 different places in your community.
- Label your places in Spanish.
- Add color and details (streets, trees, cars, etc.) to your community.
