¡Hola, clase!
Today we are going to learn the Spanish words for some delicious foods and drinks. Look at the Food Vocabulary (K) Power Point with the Spanish food and drink items written underneath the pictures. Repeat the Spanish words after Señora Peace by listening to the audio.
Now let’s practice the food song to help you remember the Spanish vocabulary. Look at the slide that reads “Food Song.” This song goes to the tune of “She’ll be comin’ round the mountain when she comes.” Listen to the lyrics the first time I sing them. Then, play this again and sing along with me the second time. Let’s begin!
Look at page 34 titled "Food and Drink." Point to the pictures and practice saying them in Spanish on your own.
Look at page 35 titled "My Meal" (Mi comida). Draw me a picture to show me which food is your favorite (favorita) on the plate (plato). When you are finished drawing, label the food item in Spanish and send it as an e-mail attachment ([email protected]), or you can send me a voice recording in Spanish telling me which one is your favorite by Friday, April 3rd.
Gracias,
Señora Peace
